How Herbs Changed My Life

The Season I Thought I Was Dying

In 2019, my body began to shut down. What started as digestive discomfort quickly turned into severe nausea, constant vomiting, intense stomach pain, extreme fatigue, and rapid weight loss. I went through test after test, appointment after appointment, and built up medical debt searching for answers that never came. At one point, a doctor even discharged me because he couldn’t find a solution. I felt dismissed, exhausted, and scared. At the same time, my brother was battling stage 3 kidney disease and undergoing dialysis. Watching someone I love fight so hard while my own health was unraveling pushed me to a breaking point. I knew something had to change.

In 2021, after exhausting the options I had been given, I began learning about herbs. I was skeptical at first. Starting something new can feel uncomfortable, especially after so many disappointments. But I started simple. I began drinking dandelion tea twice a day, morning and night, and continued that routine for three months.

When I returned for blood work, my numbers were surprisingly back to normal! My digestion stabilized, my energy returned, and the inflammation that had been consuming my body began to ease. During that same season, my brother also began using dandelion support, and his kidney function returned to normal. That was the moment everything shifted for me. I realized our bodies were not broken — they simply needed the right support!

I learned what it feels like to fight for my health, and now I help others start small and build confidence one step at a time.

Why You Can Trust My Approach

Education, Experience, and Stewardship

After experiencing healing firsthand, I dove in fully. I became a certified Herbalist through The Lost Remedies Academy in 2021 and completed additional certifications through Commonwealth Holistic Herbalism in 2022, including elderberry, pain support, and natural remedies. I continue studying every year because I believe education builds confidence.

Most of the herbs I use are foraged right here in Buchanan, Tennessee. Once I understood how many toxins are present in modern food systems, I wanted to know exactly where my remedies came from. Wildcrafting takes time and care, but it brings peace of mind. Every plant is gathered, dried, and prepared thoughtfully and meticulously.

When you purchase from Herbalicious Lifestyle, you are choosing small batch remedies rooted in personal experience, formal training, and deep stewardship.
